On November 28th, Syracuse.com released an article highlighting the struggles of a particular home-based child care provider in our community. It’s encouraging to see our local news outlets centering the voices of providers and keeping attention on our current child care crisis. That being said, child care is a complicated issue, and there were several areas in the article that deserved deeper exploration and community education.
